Transaero Airlines has launched a new web address, transaero.mobi, for mobilephone users accessing the company's website. Transaero is the first ever among Russian carriers to make it in .mobi domain zone.
Transaero plans to upgrade the system soon to provide passengers with easy to read SMS boarding passes sent directly to mobile devices.
Transaero launched a new high quality mobile version of their website earlier this year and the new address links directly to this site, more suitable for viewing on smaller screens. Mobile device users can use the mobile website for check-in, including obtaining a boarding pass via sms, access to the Transaero Privilege page for eligible members and other information about the airline and its services.
Transaero is constantly working hard to improve its services in the air and on the ground with the state-of-the-art technology including popular with the passengers Self-Services.
The introduction of this new web address for mobile devices is another example of the ongoing effort of Transaero Airlines to develop and improve its passenger services with mobile Internet technologies.
