As of 27 March 2011, Italian low-cost airline Wind Jet will be offering two new flights a week from Berlin-Tegel to Rimini, the popular holiday destination on Italy’s Adriatic Sea, and a weekly flight from Berlin germany to Forli in Northern Italy.
Flights from Tegel will depart every Thursday and Friday at 12.10 p.m., landing in Rimini at 1.45 p.m. Return flights from Rimini will depart on the same days at 9.20 a.m., arriving in Berlin at 11.10 a.m.
A pleasant climate, fine wine and a relaxed lifestyle make Italy a popular holiday destination, and rightly so. Rimini is ideal for those who love strolling along the beach, sunbathing and calm waters yet are looking for cultural diversity and exciting nightlife. Located on the Adriatic Sea, Rimini is one of the most popular, if not the most popular holiday destination in Italy. But it has much more to offer than just a 15 km long sandy beach and a hip party scene: visitors to the historic city centre can see ancient Roman monuments such as the Arch of Augustus or the Tiberius Bridge. The city’s treasure is the early Renaissance Malatesta Temple built in the 13th century.
