JetBlue Airways announced new nonstop destinations – Portland, Ore. and Santiago, D.R. Seasonal service to Portland International Airport (PDX) begin May 26, 2011 and on Friday, June 17 JetBlue will begin the only nonstop service from Boston’s Logan (BOS) to Santiago Cibao International Airport (STI) three times weekly, subject to receipt of government approval.
Flights between Boston and Portland are on sale now at www.jetblue.com, with fares to Portland as low as $169 (a) each way for travel booked by Friday, Feb. 11. Travel must take place June 1 – June 29, 2011.

Depart BOS 7:37 p.m. Arrive PDX 10:47 p.m.
Depart PDX 11:37 p.m. Arrive BOS 8:02 a.m. +1 (daily)
Service to both new destinations will be operated by JetBlue’s Airbus A320, offering three-by-three all-leather seating with the most legroom of any other carrier in coach (b) and more than 36 channels of free, live DirecTV programming and more than 100 channels of XM Satellite radio on personal seatback TVs (c). The airline’s customers also enjoy a first-checked bag free (d), award-winning customer service and unlimited, complimentary snacks and drinks.
Customers connecting through Boston on JetBlue from select destinations can take advantage of convenient onward service to Europe and beyond on JetBlue’s partner airlines Aer Lingus and Lufthansa, or to destinations throughout New England with Cape Air.
“This is great news for PDX travelers, who make 150,000 trips every year between Portland and Boston,” said David Zielke, Port of Portland general manager of air service development. “We appreciate JetBlue’s continued commitment to our community, including existing routes to both New York and Long Beach, Calif.”
With these route additions, JetBlue will serve a total of 42 nonstop destinations, more than double the next largest carrier. The value airline will also begin weekly winter service to Providenciales, in the Turks & Caicos Islands, its 39th destination, on Feb. 19 and four daily flights from Logan to Newark, destination number 40, will begin May 4. Summer service to Oakland, Calif. will also resume in May.
