“The coming year will be very exciting and feature even more changes at the shopping centre. We opened 13 new shops in 2010 to meet passenger demand for greater differentiation. We intend to bring this differentiation even further ahead in the year to come, so that passengers will have offers catering to all tastes and profiles, said Carsten Nørland, VP, Sales at Copenhagen Airports A/S
The finest toy store in the world
Good news for the many children and parents travelling through Copenhagen Airport: Hamleys will open a shop in Terminal 3 in late January. Hamleys was founded in 1760 by the Englishman William Hamley whose modest ambition was for his shop to be the finest toy store in the world. Hamleys has since grown into a seven-story paradise for children and the young at heart in central London, and Hamleys also has shops-in-shops in a number of department stores worldwide as well as shops in a large number of airports.
“Hamleys is one of the biggest and best toy stores in the world, and many Scandinavians already know the brand from London or from the Magasin department store in central Copenhagen. We are proud to have Hamleys open a shop at Copenhagen Airport. This will be a joy for children at the airport and for their parents wishing to bring back a gift for their young ones, said Carsten Nørland, VP for Sales at Copenhagen Airport.
Fashion at budget prices
H&M is going to open a new shop in the Cylinder in Terminal 3 with the latest in-store design. The H&M shop will offer fashion clothing for both men and women.
“H&M is absolutely the best bet for a concept that meets passenger demand. They offer clothing and accessories for any style and occasion. With its basic products and latest fashion styles, H&M attract a broad range of customers from students to extremely fashion conscious people as their collections are very broad and always include new and exciting styles, said Carsten Nørland.
